You are so clear and concise in giving this information. How could anyone not follow your advice. It is almost as though it just flows from the beginning to the follow through of the person reading it. I haven’t thought of my husband as an formal accountability partner, but now I will ask him to do so and we will be accountable to each other as well as to the tribe.

You’re so right Jon. Having someone to work with that can help you keep your promises is HUGE! We can easily make excuses when just answering to ourselves. But, when we have another person to commit to, it changes everything. Thanks for creating a tribe where people can have powerful accountability partners. all the best!

This is so true Jon. You can make excuses to yourself, but it’s harder to make excuses to someone else. Really enjoyed Tom’s newest book – Time Out!

You know, I never thought of trying to develop a working relationship with an accountability partner. Funny how something so simple and obvious goes unnoticed when we are so busy trying to get our daily tasks done.

But this is a truly great idea, and I’m sure Ii would benefit from this accountability. I’m definitely going to check this out with some associates I’ve met out here. In fact, this is another reason that this Tribe is so significant. Where else would I turn to find a good accountability partner?

Thanks for a real good tip-off, Dr. Jon.

An essential for success point you are presenting here … accountability is an important ingredient in achievement. Accountability and responsibility are connected in a very intricate way. And we are to participate in both. Having an accountability partner definitely prompts us to avoid procrastinations and go ahead with our desires.

    Hey Jon,

This is an excellent post and such a powerful concept.
It’s amazing how your productivity skyrockets the moment you’re aware that someone is holding you accountable.

Sometimes it’s just so easy to slip back into ‘not doing’ when you haven’t made a commitment.

Thanks for your reminder as I need to go get this up and running again :)

    Great stuff Jon,

Most people definitely need an accountability coach, myself included! There are some who can do it alone but I still recommend having one or a few to keep in constant contact with.

Thanks again Jon for all that you do.

    Hello Dr. Jon!

It’s so good to see your smiling face. An accountability partner is such a help. I can’t stand letting people down, so I will push myself for others.

My friend, Lynn Rekvig and I are not official partners, but we pretty much function that way. She is in Sweden, like you, so it can be tricky finding times to talk. Also, my tribe functions like an AP because I know that they are expecting a new blog each week.

I can see that I probably need to set up a more official arrangement!

Thanks! I think that this suggestion will help a lot!
