The Purpose of Life… (Day 20)

August 14th, 2009 by DrJon

“The Basis of Life is Freedom,
The Purpose of Life is Joy”

-Abraham-Hicks-

This is one of my favourite quotes.
I really do believe that the purpose of life is Joy. We are here on this planet to have fun, to enjoy life and expand our reality.

When we are living our lives to the fullest we are having fun and enjoying what we are doing.

If you are familiar with Abraham-Hicks teachings you will know that all of their messages are based on the fact that your emotions controls you and your life. If you are feeling sad, you will attract more sad things into your life. If you are feeling joy, you will attract more joyful experiences into your life. The more you focus on something, the more you will get of it. That is one of the reasons why I love this quote so much!

It resonates with me. I am a happy positive person and always try to do the things in life that makes me feel most joy. In any situation, whatever I am doing, I am always looking for a positive angle of it. And I always find it in one way or another, no matter how sad or boring the situation can seems at first.

Apply that in your life as well! Always look for a positive angle into every situation you are experience and you will see your life become much more joyous and happy.

Enjoy This Life Experiences because the Dontrast and Desires they Create will make it all Worth it in the end!

How ‘The Secret’ Changed My Life (Day 17)

How ‘The Secret’ changed my life!

When I Saw the video and book phenonomenon “The Secret” for the first time my life changed direction.
This movie set me off on a complete new journey in a different direction than where I was heading before.

You see, before I came across the Secret, I had other beliefs about life and how certain things occur, like success.

At that time, I was more into the belif that much of success is based on LUCK, that some things that happens in our lifes happens by chance or coincidence. It was not like I thought everyone has their destiny pre determined, but still I didn’t realize that we actually create our own reality. That our thoughts forms our lifes.

However now I know different, Success is a Choice and whatever you set your mind upon you can achieve. No matter how big a goal seems. If you believe in it and have enough Persistence and Patience You will Succeed. It is then just a matter of how long it is gonna take and how willing you are to let success come into your life.

´The Secret´introduced me to the concept of the Law of Attraction, that we attract whatever we focus on, no matter if it is good or bad. We Are The Creators of Our Own Realities and if we don´t like what is showing up in our lifes we better need to change our thoughts.

After I was Introduced to the Secret, my life took off into a path of personal growth and development, a journey that I am very grateful that I got into. It gave me a whole new perspective on life. More fulfillment, joy and pleasure. It is a journey I will continue for as long as I live. :)

Other books about the Law of Attraction that I’ve came across after I found ´The Secret´have actually taught me more deep knowledge about how to use the Law to my favour, and use it in the best possile way.

Some books and resources I can recommend for you if you are intersted in more knowledge about the Law of Attraction:

The Secret, by Rhonda Byrne The one that started my journey!

Ask and It Is Given, by Esther & Jerry Hicks One of the Best Books I’ve Ever Read!

The Law of Attraction, by Michael Losier This is probably the most practical guide to learn How to Apply the Law of Attraction in Your Life!

Dr Jon

How to Fly A Glider Airplane? An Introduction (Day 14)

July 24th, 2009 by DrJon

This is a video where I will take you through a day at the local airport.
I will show You how a glider airplane looks from both the outside and the inside.
I will also take the camera with me up in the air to show you the wonderful view high up in the sky.

The footage is both from the ground and up to an altitude of 600m (2000 ft) above ground level.

The weather conditions this day was very good. A lot of thermal activity in the air which is desired when oyu fly a glider. :)

Flying a glider can be the most peaceful and calm experience you can ever imagine. Flying without an engine, you will only hear the sound of air flowing outside the glider. An Awesome experience that everyone should try at least one time in their lives :)

The flight doesn’t have to be calm and peaceful if you don’t want it to. It can also be the best roller-coaster and thrill ride you can ever imagine! The feeling of butterflies in my stomach when I do a looping or a roll had yet to be beaten by something else. It is definitely one of the best experience you will ever have in your life :)

If you are ever coming to where I live in Sweden and we have connected online before, don’t hesitate to contact me and I’ll do my best to arrange a ride for you! ;)

To the Top (up in the Sky),
Dr Jon

PS. What do You Think about flying? Have you ever been trying one of these gliders?
