Goals Should Be Inspiring
If a goal is not insrpiring to you, chanses are that you’ll never reach it.
I don’t want to be harsh but that is the reality. Most of the goals that don’t inspire, will never be reached. Or, they will be reached but the process that gets you there will probably be so exhausting and drain your energy to a level where you really need to struggle to motivate yourself to achieve it.
I created this video on New Years Day 2011 just to show how I did when I set my goals for the year. I hope this inspires you to do the same. How inspired you are when you set your goals will determine your efforts when you are gonna work towards reaching them.

This is an important idea. I’ve found more an more as of late, that changing my scenery is critical to the way I work.
I live very close to Lake Ontario and I am able to walk to water in 5 minutes.

Such good points to set the stage for inspirational goal setting. I too love to be out in the wonders of nature to open my mind to all the possibilities that are out there. There’s something about connecting with the inner you when you’re out like that.

Great tip Jon! Goals should be thought out and put down on paper. Then do everything you can do accomplish those goals! Great view!! Reminds me of our trip to the beach in SD! Fun times!!
Thank you for posting such a beautiful video and what a profound thought, i have been making goals and targets sitting in my office, but they tend to be become monotonous and very soon i lose interest in them, i am sure visiting a new and a breathtaking place like you are right now, would certainly help!
